FAQ
What you need to know

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

01

What is the procedure of signing on, paying and participating in the course?

During the course piloting period (until Sept 2017), courses are provided to participants free of charge. Participants still, however, need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Please sign up to the course by email, as specified in the distributed course invitation. You will then receive updates on course practicalities by email.

02

How can I cancel the course or can I rebook to another date?

Please let the organisers know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your participation in a course. Do this by the same contact information as the registration. When cancelling, please ask for alternative dates or ask to be put on the mailing list to get information about future course arrangements.

03

Can I transfer my registration to another person last-minute because I can't take part myself?

Yes, but please inform the organisers of the change at latest 1 day before the course start.

04

Are there any discounts for groups of participants and what are the terms for that?

There are no discounts, as in the piloting period Layterm courses are free of charge. Arrangements for travel and accommodation are at the participants own expense, on which we have no influence.

05

Are there any certificates for the participation? Will the certificates be internationally accepted?

Participants will get a certificate issued in English, which allows worldwide acceptance. The certificate contains the identification data of the holder, the completed course programme including date and location.

06

What is the procedure if a course will be canceled? What demands can I make?

If in the unlikely event a course must be cancelled, we inform all participants immediately in advance. Unfortunately we cannot refund any cancellation fees for travel and accommodation arrangements. The Layterm pilot courses are already free of charge.
